It’s been a long time since I last posted anything. I recently read my friend Jason’s post on how Facebook killed his blogging, and I understood that I am in the same boat with him. Tallinna ja Tampere syksy 2009
Enpä ole vähään aikaan kirjoittanut kun on ollut taas kiireinen yliopistosyksy. Nyt on kuitenkin aika lyhyesti referoida kaksi upeaa vaikkakin pikaista matkaa, Tallinnaan Trialogos-festivaaliin ja Tampereelle katolisen nuortenryhmän viikonlopunviettoon. Yllä näkyy koulu, jossa pidettiin tänä vuonna Trialogos -festivaali Tallinnassa. Autuaan Hemmingin pyhiinvaellus 18.-25.7.2009
Tänään onkin kesäloman viimeinen päivä, sillä huomenna alkaa jo yliopisto ja uusi akateeminen vuosi. Sen vuoksi täytyy saada kesälomakertomukset päätökseen ja kirjoittaa matkakertomus kesäloman viimeisestä ”matkasta”, viikon pyhiinvaelluksesta Turkuun, joka käveltiin jo kolmantena peräkkäisenä vuonna. Mukana oli ennätysmäärä ihmisiä – parhaillaan 11 henkeä samaan aikaan, kun taas koko matkan käveli 5 henkeä. Yhteensä vaelluksella eriJatka lukemista ”Autuaan Hemmingin pyhiinvaellus 18.-25.7.2009”

Kuten blogin ahkerimmat seuraajat tietävät, kirjoitin viime kesänä kirjan apostoli Paavalista, kristinuskon ja läntisen maailman suuresta kirjallisesta, kulttuurisesta ja uskonnollisesta vaikuttajasta. Kesällä 2009 julkaistun kirjan kannessa on Rooman Lateraanikirkon Paavali-patsas ja takakannessa Suomen johtavien Paavali-tutkijoiden, luterilaisten teologien, suosituksia/kommentteja. It is time to tell about my 2 last days in the US. I took a Greyhound bus one more time from Hagerstown to New York via Philadelphia. Welcome to Washington DC and the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception! Now that was another amazingly beautiful sanctuary right there, one of my definite favorites! I visited Washington with Bob Sungenis, had some great Ethiopian food first and then went to Mass here on St. Josemaría’s feastday. After the trip to Chisholm I came back to my host family and spent a fun evening with them telling about the trip and teaching twinkle twinkle to little James in the Finnish language.
