Rule 1. Location Changes Value
A bottle of water costs a dollar at the corner store.
At the airport it's four.
From the hotel minibar it's nine.
In the middle of a desert, it costs whatever you have on you.
It's the same water in the same bottle. The only thing that changed is the room.
Your price gets set by where you're standing. Many of you reading this right now are being underpriced simply by your location.
The great thing is that you can change location at any time, because the thing holding you back is fear and emotional attachments.
If your goal is to become rich, this is the most valuable choice you can make.
We spend too much time with the outcome of our decisions but insufficient time making those decisions.
You are under no obligation to die in the same place you were born in.
Believe it or not, where you live is the most important decision you will make early in your life. (yes even more important than who you marry, let me build this argument)
It will determine what culture you grow up in, who you date and eventually marry, what you do for work and how far you dare to dream. Yet most people just default to whatever cards they've been dealt and assume nothing else will change.
People who become rich take control of their environment as quickly as possible. They do everything in their power to get as close as they can to where the action is.
The action isn't coming to you, no matter how long you wait for it.
Proximity to money makes you rich.
